Story

From 2008 to 2016, Eléonore Halluitte Andrews successfully headed the contemporary design department of Mallett, the 150 year-old antique house based in Mayfair, London.

She co-developed and ran the iconic Meta collection offering unique and limited edition pieces; showcasing rare and exceptional materials, each piece made by ateliers and master craftsmen throughout Europe and America, and signed by leading international designers.

Eléonore has also curated groundbreaking exhibitions and visionary installations, celebrating today’s leading designers and master craftsmen, in partnership with international galleries, design houses and luxury maisons - including The Wapping Project, Maison Parisienne, Lino Tagliapietra, Bocci and Tane to name a few.

A Parisian at heart, born to a French and American family, Eléonore’s passion for design was kindled working for a third generation upholsterer in Paris.

There she learned the value of master craftsmanship, its unique quality and the depth of history it brings to any piece. She went on to read both Law and History of Art at the Sorbonne before moving to London in 2006. She is now an On Purpose Fellow with the desire to drive social and environmental impact in the creative industry.

Her husband is leading luxury and sporting specialist, Ian Andrews, founder of the Sporting Consultancy. The pair are proud parents to twins and share a passion for Africa.
